July's off to a good start...

Making a little somethin' somethin'...
Can tell I'm in my fifties.  Started out on the steps, bending to work on the wreath. Whew. That's painful! No worries, I'll sit on the chair and work on it.  No bueno.  Still painful.  Put my clever mind to work and came up with this plan.  No wonder I'm tired at the end of the day. That's a lot a thinkin!
Couldn't resist all the different shades of green in the yard.

This says summertime to me. Yum!
Fruit is so dang pretty!!! and delicious!

Backyard bliss. Sweet friends. Good food. Awesome family. The 4th. Always a good time to take stock and say thank you! (You can't see me, but I'm curtsying.) Thank you Lord!

Look at this beauty!

  3. LOL, thanks Cheri. I thought it was hilarious. I made the wreath the day before. On the actual 4th it was droopy and gasping for life. Ahhhh wreath making. It's the little things. It did turn out to be a glorious evening didn't it Karen?

My daughter was just trying to coax me into coming to Boise to go with her next week. I have always loved all of Darlene's store, but this one is really special.
