Hmmmmm...50 something Birthday

I've never been one to shy away from announcing my age to anyone who had the tactlessness to ask. As I grow older I feel more protective of my being, and choose to reveal certain things about myself to close and dear friends. Is this being a bit "old womanish" you may ask? Heck NO, I'm just reserving the right to privacy. Oh, and in case anyone is interested, I just turned 58, and had one wonderful Birthday.

WIENER MOBILE AT MY LOCAL SUPERMARKET

Wow! I went to shop for groceries at Fred Meyers and, lo and behold, there stood the Oscar Mayer Wiener Mobile. I scrambled for my camera and took a few shots of this awesome vehicle, even as I was being pelted by rain. You would of thought I had just spotted Colin Firth or some other awesome Hollywood hottie. Felt very self satisfied as I walked past the Wiener Mobile with my camera full of shots, hmmmm...too bad, no autographs.

May Day

What a phenomenal 

first day of May! 

First of the season cutting and arranging tulips in a vase. Friends over for lunch,  dining al-fresco right next to a fountain, birds singing, sun shining. Touring the "Parade of Homes" getting ideas and inspiration. Home again, time to sit outside and enjoy the beauty.
